Requirements

Miniweb 2.0 uses a combination of PHP, Javascripts, Ajax, HTML/DHTML, CSS, and MySQL to deliver optimal performance. It can be run on most Web servers without any additional efforts. For best results, please check the following requirements before setting it up on your Web site.

Web Hosting: Shared, Dedicated, Cloud
Operating System: Linux, Windows, MAC, FreeBSD
PHP Version: PHP 4.0 to 5.3, Ioncube supported
PHP Configuration: GD library, Safe_Mode = Off**
Database: MySQL 3.0 to 5.0
Browsers: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari
Browser Settings: Javascript and cookie enabled
SEO URLs and Link Shortener: URL rewrite must be enabled

*Miniweb 2.0 runs well at the following Web hosts: 1and1, GoDaddy, IPowerWeb, C I Host, BlueHost, RackSpace, Hostgator, IXWebHosting, Tigersites, and many others.

**GD library is required for auto thumbnail creation and auto image resizing in Media Album module. Safe_Mode is for making the applications more secure. It’s preferred and not required. Most Web hosts have this setting as Off.
